FLIP IT!
Welcome to 1000 Stories of How to Flip the Feeling and Find Peace Inside
Fear. Depression. Hopelessness. These are common feelings when people experience a crisis, traumatic event, death of a loved one or other difficult life transition. But take heart! It’s possible to go through a life-changing event and come out on the other side with a positive sense of purpose and meaning to our “new” lives. Think about Nelson Mandela, the anti-apartheid activist who maintained his indomitable spirit and the power of his leadership even after 27 years in jail…or Christopher Reeve, the handsome actor who tirelessly promoted research for spinal cord injuries after a fall off a horse left him a paraplegic…or Viktor Frankl, the author of Man’s Search for Meaning, who survived a Nazi concentration camp because he observed that those who refused to feel like victims of unfair circumstance were more likely to live. These extraordinary people decided to move through their pain and make the most of what they had, rather than focus on what was taken from them. They found a silver lining in their circumstance, and in doing so, found new meaning and purpose to their lives.https://www.outlookindia.com/outlook-spotlight/payday-loans-uk-get-up-to-3-000-now-with-no-credit-check-online-news-296609
This blog is about YOU doing the same thing. Your story doesn’t have to be about a huge life-changing event (although in my experience, ALL events qualify as life-changing!). It can be as simple as changing your attitude about your boss or shifting your thought pattern about the food you eat or choosing to stop beating yourself up. All stories are valuable and all are welcome.
We’ve tried to make the process as simple as possible. Please click on this link to find the template for submitting your story. Please keep it to 500 words or less. The template follows the FLIP IT! process of Feel, Listen, Intervene and Promote the Positive. For an article an article on how to FLIP IT! click here.
